Since the foundation meeting date, the enterprises of the Association have accomplished the following activities: – The most complete information about the general aviation aircraft production in the Russian Federation in the period from 1991 to the present day has been collected
– Systematic analysis of factors, hindering the GA development in Russia and, in particular, commercial production of domestic equipment has been completed
– Impact of the economic environment and legal constraints on the development of a demand for GA aircraft has been analyzed
the capacity of the GA aircraft has been evaluated based on the “Prediction of a long-term socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030”
– Russia’s needs in special-purpose light aircraft, in particular, intended for ultra-low-volume and low-volume spraying and other types of aerial activities, have been defined
– Software for evaluating production capacity and cost efficiency of small-sized aircraft construction companies has been prepared and tested
the work on the assessment of the small-sized aircraft construction companies’ capability to increase production output under today’s conditions
– A Typical concept of the general aviation development in Russia’s regions has been developed
– A Draft law “About amendments to the Air Code of the Russian Federation” has been prepared
– A report on the top priority proposals for the GA aircraft production development was presented at a meeting of the Presidential Commission for GA aircraft production development (see Appendix)
– Systematic work on core activities of the Association members has been started
The Plan for 2014 calls for resolving a number of top priority tasks related to the GA equipment production development and GA penetration into the international markets.
